Photo Policy

For photographers
- You keep your rights. You own the copyright to photos you take. Submitting photos gives BSN permission to display them, link to your gallery, and share them on BSN's website and social channels, always with your name as the photographer credit.
- Review first. Every submission is reviewed by a BSN editor. Nothing is published automatically, and we may decline a submission for quality, relevance or safety.
- Credit is prominent. Every album shows the photographer's name and, where provided, a link to their own gallery.
- Confirm permission. Only submit photos you took, or that the photographer has authorized you to share.
- Removal. You can ask us to remove or update your photos at any time.
Photographing athletes
Photos should be taken at public sporting events and show athletes participating in the event. Please don't submit photos of children in non-sports settings, photos taken in locker rooms or restrooms, or photos that show private information.
We publish names with photos only when a name is already public sports information (for example, a roster or scoreboard). We do not publish athletes' contact details.
For parents, students and schools
If you would like a photo removed or a name corrected, tell us through the contact page and choose “Correction or removal request.” We will act promptly and, for photos of minors, we treat these requests as high priority.
Using BSN photos
Photos on this site belong to their photographers. Please don't copy, resell or use them commercially without the photographer's permission. Ask us and we'll connect you.
